Power figures won't be released until the launch

It is the straight six with a DOHC. Apart from that you'll just have to wait and see. Oh, and statement of the obvious : "one of the most powerful sixes ever" is a completely meaningless phrase.

Cheers

Any word on driveline?

Anyone heard anything about drivetrain apart from the XR6 possibly going VSS, DOHC and turbo?

I suspect V8 is 4.6 and 5.3 SOHC but anyone seen any details?

Nope Ford are staying pretty tight-lipped until the launch

I have been lucky to go to the Broadmedows Ford plant and have sat in most of the BA models.
And, No they are not using the 4.6L V8. They will be using the 5.4L one though and the XR6 will be turbo charged to 220+kWs which should allow it to do 0-100km/h in the low 6s or 5s.
Inside, it is very european. Very well put together and luxurious and about the base engine.
Yes, it is a DOHC, 24v I6 that will produce a lot more than the current 157kWs and a lot more torque.
