Question Removing Control Arm (99 alero)

I snapped what i think is my control arm in half and now i

need to replace it along with some other things, but i cant

seem to take out the control arm. I unscrewed the huge screw

that it had, tried to pull it out but it wont come out. Its being

held by a black plastic thing, i cant take that thing off.... any

ideas???

Re: Removing Control Arm (99 alero)

Welcome to AF.

You'll need to be more specific. What control arm are you referring to?

For example you have control arms on the front suspension and steering system. The part that looks like an A Frame where the ball joint is located is a control arm.
