03 F4i Won't Start

I got a 2003 Honda F4I that I am trying to start up, but when I try to start it up the only thing that is happening is that the starter is turning over but not the engine. But what I found out is that the Spark Plugs are not receiving electricity. What could be causing this?

1. Kick stand is up when trying to start.
2. The red switch is on the on poison.
3. Could is be the computer ?????????

Re: 03 F4i Won't Start

so is the engine cranking or is the starter just spinning?

how do you know the plugs are not getting power... because with engines no matter what engine.. the engine has to be cranking to be sparking.. so unless if you have checked the power to the coil and there is nothing you should be getting spark.

if the starter is not cranking the engine, but is spinning, the silenoid is that pushes the starter gear to the flywheel is bad... and unless you have a spare silenoid/starter then you will have to purchase a new one..

if its cranking and there is no spark.. check the coil.. if no power then get power there.. (just to see if its wiring or what you could hotwire the coil... just take a wire from the positive of the battery to the coil... NOT RECCOMENDED UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING) if there is power to the coil.. then check if your getting fuel.. if you are getting fuel then its either something wrong mechanically or as you asked your computer.. if checking all of these and no luck.. take it to your dealer.. have them check it.. it may be worth having them pinpoint the problem especially if its major..

good luck hope i could help

Thanks

The engine is not turning but you can hear the Crank Cranking, but no electricity to engine.

Re: 03 F4i Won't Start

??? that makes no sense haha... if the cranks turning the engine is turning over.. check your timing chain or gear or whatever bikes have.. is it there/ turning when you turn it over.. if not.. that would stop it from turning over and depending on how much you have tried to turn it over may of damaged some part of the valve's..

sounds like the engine may have had its last breath...

you might of just gotten yourself a project for the summer
