2001 Grand Am SE heater core cover bolts
Greetings,
I am trying to replace a heater core and cannot find the far back bolts holding the heater cores outer cover. I have the front and side ones out (6 with a 6mm hex head) and am able to swing the cover down enough to see the heater core but I cannot find any more bolts. The dash is still in and I'm wondering if that's part of my problem. I also loosened the bracket holding the heater hose from the engine bay firewall thinking those might have been it but they are out and the box is till too tight. Thank you. |

Re: 2001 Grand Am SE heater core cover bolts
they are 5.5mm hex heads either against firewall- or in behind- there is one in a recess that always fools folks- also check behind the carpet and pad
