A good muffler shop should be able to fix you up.

Re: looking for a new performance muffler

This is a few days old...but I'd figure I'd chime in.

Stay away from Flowmaster...they do sound nice I admit but the drone they produce is horrible.

I think a Dynomax bullet (It may externally look like a glasspack, but a glasspack has a louvered core while the Dynmax Bullet has a perforated core like Magnaflow) or a Magnaflow muffler of your choice might be good for you.

I assume you have a 350?

This is the Bullet

Magnaflow XL3 (a relatively newly developed muffler)

Regular Magnflow

The bigger the muffler, the more tame/quieter it will be.The shorter, the louder. I have a 14" case SI/SO Magnaflow on my V6 and it's relatively quiet at idle but when you get on it, it is a little loud but not too bad. Most prefer a 18" or 22" case though.

Re: looking for a new performance muffler

Do you want it quiet or do you want to hear the engine roar?
