Very rough running, shaking, fuel smell...
Truck has been runing great, then all of a sudden it died while driving last night. It would start but run very rough, and smell of fuel. Only stay running while pressing the gas pedal. Computer? injector stuck open?

I wouldn't recommend replacing parts until the truck begins to run, like those guys mentioned.
Check your codes since your check engine light is probably on. Check your exhaust for restriction. I think it sounds like your throttle position sensor has gone bad. Hard to say.

Re: Very rough running, shaking, fuel smell...
Turned out to be a broken valve spring which caused the timing to jump. Not good news...All fixed now...$1700 later.
