Unhappy 1995 Bonneville Se

Car backfired and ran rough rest of way home {10 Mile} Next morning car wouldn't start have spark and getting gas. any suggestions

Check plugs and wires.

Replaced plugs and wires no luck. Could timing chain have jumped if so how can I check it?

No codes it cranks over but does not hit. pulled fuel line it is pumping gas checked each plug it is getting spark on all cyl.

Spray carb cleaner into the intake to isolate whether it is fuel related if it starts.

Thanks to all car is now running sprayed carb cleaner in intake car started did not stay running repeated a few times car stayed running. Drove car for about 50 miles shut it off started right backup, went out next day car started fine.

I'd be looking at a potential fuel pump problem here or do a full scan and look at sensor inputs.

hello everyone i have a 1995pontiac bonnieville 3.8 the problem that i'am having is that my won't start. it will trun over and when i but starter fluid in the carb it's sound like it wanna start............ big story short i drove my car to my son house to leave it for the summmer being i have a 2005 mitisubi montero sport and don't have room for two cars... when i went to get my car so that i can drive it . guess what it didn't crank at all. after replacing the crank sessor and the timming chaine it didn't wanna crank at all. so i decided to take it to the shop,put everything together and something told me to check the vacum line.(wow) it carnk so i drove it all day saturday and sunday i decided to change the oil so i did and in the process i change the vacum line know the won't start. i replace all the vacum line in the car and it still won't start..... . i have fire coming out of the spark plug and the gas regulater have pressure. any idea what couse this problem............ please help..... thank you victor

updated. after trying to put starter fluid the car started running fine... i was so happy to see the car running. trune it off and back on it start.... yes i gald... now the car is clean and ready for a test drive...... i left the car running for 30 min or so listen to the redio for a while the car shout off and didn't want to trun back on. the engain trun over but will not start... any help will galdy be appreciate from anyone . thank you buddy

update: ok this moring after the car trune on and stay on for a while it die again. sorry to say it didn't want to crank on again...this morning i went out there to jump the car after trying yestruday to crank it i was able to crank the car ones again. it didn't last too long on when it trune off and didn't want to crank on again..... does anyone know what the problem can be please help thank you buddy.

I wish everyone would stop using the term 'crank' when trying to describe their problem. It use to mean the starter wouldn't turn the engine over but now seems to be getting used more & more when the engine turns over but won't start.

buddylov - Is the starter turning over the engine? Have you noticed any white smoke from the exhaust when it does start?

mickey thank's for replying to my meaasage. yes the starter is trunning over the engine..... the car finially trune on yes i did see some white smoke comming out of the exhaust pipe for a min,however the car stay running for 45 min. the car shut off and didn't wanted to trune back on... on sunday the car trune on for a while and didn't trune on again..... today i have check for spark on the wire and i have spark. my tank is on hafe and my fuel regulator have pressure. any suggestion.

1st let's try rule out any ignition problems.
Check for spark from all three front spark plug wires.
Also pull the three front plugs & see if they're wet or dry.
