I have a 73 GT, soon to be receiving a set of 15x7's

You can get a larger rim on there (I think that an 18 might fit) but you are going to have to go with an ultra-low profile tire, and I have heard that ride is too harsh with a sidewall that short

ya i wouldnt put ne 18s on it, just 16's on it cuz im installing the California front bumper on it now and im ordering the side skirts and rear spoiler next. Keep writen back bout ne thing ur opel we need to get more ppl on this site to talk bout there opels so we can get a forums goin on here!

I think that the www.opelgt.com site is better suited for any discussion on the Opel. I hate to detract from the great resource that AF is, but almost any imaginable topic has already been discussed at opelgt.com. Plus there is a great community there.

FWIW, I found a set of 13x7's with the right bolt pattern hidden underneath a plow at the shop. I pulled em out, cleaned em up slapped a set of 205/60/13 on them, and the ride is pretty close to perfect. Sometimes bigger isn't better, free is always better.
