These are certainly great cars. I believe the 2.5 V6 will be a classic. I have had one for three and a half years (from new) and I love it. Mine is a Monza (Australian version with the sports pack 3). 16" alloys, side skirts, sports suspension, stiff springs (my wife thinks its ride is a bit harsh but boy does it corner) all leather interior, red on black gauges and carbon fibre look alike centre counsol. Of course it's in Alfa Red.

I'd like to keep it for longer but with 78,500 klms on the clock and the new 159 just landed here, I had a test drove today in a 2.2 litre JTS. Noticably down on power on my 156 but the budget won't stretch, at present, to the 3.2 litre V6 (50% more that the 2.2 here). Might do a deal if the price is right but the 156 V6 will definite leave fond memories.

I try to by 156 GTA and sell my wonderfull 156 2.5 V6.

In italy with 16.000 euros you bui a 156 GTA full years 2002/2003
