twin turbo

i have a DOHC engine, if i put twin turbo in it, what is the max boost pressure it would be safe to run it at, and is there anything i can do to increase tha boost pressure it canrun at?
i kno i have to get intercooler and new exhaust and other things to fit the turbo's but other than that is it really that difficult?

I would suggest getting lower compression pistons also. max boost on the stock turbos is 14.5 I wouldn't go above that on stock internals.

Re: twin turbo

I could tell you a lot of stuff about what you need but your better off searching thru the FWD Forced Induction forum on 3si to tell you everything you need to know. There is a WEALTH of info in there.

Re: twin turbo

There is a list of stuff you need in the FAQ...it will be alot more than you are thinking...you'll probably need a donor vr4.

Also we run 14.5psi on the vr4s...that is with our pistons..and our fuel and intake setup...if you tt'd your car, you could squeeze 8psi without switching the pistons.

Re: twin turbo

You can run more that both of those numbers, you just need the right fuel setup and race gas.
