Re: any ideas on making ZTT lighter?
yeah, losing 50 lbs off your fat ass will help it loads, especially in cornering... balances out the car better and makes it less driverside heavy (ever wonder why the battery's usually on the passenger side of the car?)
anything that lightens rotating mass is going to make a huge difference, like your lightened strengthened driveshaft and 18lb racing wheels....

Re: any ideas on making ZTT lighter?
Actually there are lighter 16" wheels but they are close to 4Gs for the set.

Re: any ideas on making ZTT lighter?
Pfft thats all pansy stuff, get into street bikes and they make carbon fiber wheels that weigh 2 pounds.
Anyway: http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg...msg_id=1316770 Side note: There was a guy on TT.net that had a replacement windshield and rear hatch glass made from I believe Lexan and he found it only saved him like 20 pounds or something like that, certainly not enough for the money.
