Lamoborghini Countach LP500

This is a old Tamiya kit version, not the recent re-released kit so it's a bit brittle. The plastic on the driver side of the window snapped upon arrival so I did some little fixing on that. The paint is Tamiya Mica Red.

It's a kit that can be used for R/C I believe as there is a compartment for batteries.

Got the two coats done, waiting for it be cured.

More to come.

Almost done! Just need to paint the interior and minor fixes on the paint on the body.

Re: Lamoborghini Countach LP500

sweet!
1 suggestion if i can, it would look all the better if you used flat black around the windows and air ducts

otherwise it looks real sweet! the colour is sweet too!

Thanks. Yeah, next time I probably will. I was just following the paint instructions but now that I see it, it's too shiny for me so flat black is what I'll use on my future projects. Thanks mate.

Re: Lamoborghini Countach LP500

Did you put the decals on the tail light lenses or on the reflectors?
Looks great otherwise.

Re: Lamoborghini Countach LP500

I put them on the reflector as par to the instructions. It was kind of funny why since the decals weren't exact fit, but with some thinking, I managed.

Re: Lamoborghini Countach LP500

The decals are supposed to go on the inside of the clear taillight panel. I was wondering why they looked odd.

^ If that's the case, *smack* on my part. I'll try to get that fixed then. Thanks.

Great to see the old version, any chance to take photos on the box and the instruction book? Thanks!
