Ford Focus?

You think a Focus can handle a Auto-X? I kinda like the 3-doors and they get good mpg and their cheap. Yes I know its an american car, but they're easy to find for a good price. I would LOVE one of those old 2-door Imperezas or maybe a 02-03 bug eyed like my boyfriend has, but I can't afford the newer one and the 2-doors are a rare thing. I want no oler than '98, but the new the better. This car isn't just for racing, its for driving around too. Preferably a 3-door hatchback. Any ideas?

Re: Ford Focus?

The beauty of solo is you can use any car you like. The classes are arranged to keep similar cars with similar modifications together, so you don't need a super fast car to be competitive.
I think a Focus ZX3 would be a great autocross car, and a nice daily driver to boot.
