97 saab 900 questions

found one im interested in, however theres no price or milage on the dealers page, probably gonna go up there tomorrow and take a quick look, but wondering what kind of price id be looking at for a 900 2 dr convertable, probably higher milage. looks pretty nice on the outside form pics though

is it more likely to be auto tranny or standard?!

and how are they on gas?!

thanks in advance

personally, a 97 900 conv. is not a good car to own. too many top issues to count, ride like crap and expensive parts. if that sounds like the car you want, get it. i am just telling you my opinion. i am a saab technician. i see too many people who buy those used and come into the shop to get it fixed and it winds up costing $3000 and up. unless that thing is for sale for under $1500, i wouldnt waste my time. if a potlot has it, definitely stay away.
