Thumbs down iRotors, company review

Hey guys. Im just posting to warn everyone of a company called "iRotors".

they have a website, www.irotors.com, and they also sell quite a lot of brake products on eBay. I recently purchased some products from them through their website and had a horrible experience. I ordered Axxis Ultimate brake pads and they sent Ctek pads, and they will not return my phone calls or emails. I have been trying for more than 2 weeks now.

So, just beware guys. I dont want anyone else to go through the BS i am now going through. My advice to you would be to steer clear of this company.

Sorry to hear that these guys are messing with you. I hope you paid by credit card so you can send that shit back and dispute the charge.

Re: iRotors, company review

update:

after leaving my 5th message, in which i said i was going to dispute the charges and send the shit back, they finally called me 10 minutes later. Supposedly they are going to have DHL call me to arrange a pickup time and give me a refund.

Its a step in the right direction and hopefully it will work out, but im not getting my hopes too high at this point.

Re: iRotors, company review

I have heard some good things about them and some really shady things about them on 3si. Blink if you're interested do a search next time you're over there, I know quite a few members have had to deal with them in the past...maybe it will help.

Re: iRotors, company review

I ordered some slotted and drilled rotors and axis pads from them
In my case the pads were axis and were right but the package had warnings of aspestus in the brake dust
as far as rotors go they said the caps were powder coated but looks more like spray paint scratches easily and the metal was suppose to be a zinc compound to prevent rust on show cars that don't get driven mine rust with in 10 minutes of the rain starting
They do stop really well though

Re: iRotors, company review

Hate to burst your bubble but I would be very wary of those rotors. Cross drilled rotors are a gimmick and just for looks. They are prone to cracking around the holes and others have had issues with them breaking at the rotor hat. The best rotors to get are OEM style blanks with quality pads.

Re: iRotors, company review

I saw a commercial about them a month ago and was thinking about trying them out until I researched them. I would suggest some blanks from Race Shopper. I just bought some from R1 Concepts. and I've heard great things about them. Also, they were really good to deal with.

I'll also second that about the cross-drilled rotors.
