Lightbulb ANY SUGGESTIONS? this will take a genius..

This will take a brilliant brain to solve!! While swapping out the crankshaft position sensor on my kids 95 neon, after spending 2 hrs loosening the bolt which the guy before me had so conveniently rounded off for me. I use a pair of pliers to gently turn and pull the sensor out and the S.O.B. snaps off flush with the engine block! If I push in it falls into the crankcase, and it DOES move. I'm thinking super glue? or windshield adhesive? a screw ? Tried a heated awl to maybe to sink it in from the side and pry it out to no avail, the material in the sensor is somewhat heat resistant. ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Can you drill a pilot hole and use a metal screw with wire wrapped around it apparently its loose.
You can pull the pan and push it out if its like a Chevy.
Watch super glue if it gets on the side it could glue it in place.
Don't drill all the way through as debris will cause problems.

If the worst happens and it does fall into the engine, it's not the end of the world.

Chances are, it will fall down into the oil pan. , where it probably will do no harm.
Over the years, I have picked out many pieces of debris from oil pans, none of which caused any harm....... fuel pump arms, nuts/bolts/washers wrenches, sockets, pieces of intake manifold, pieces of timing chain sprockets etc. These things sink to the bottom of the pan and stay there. They are too big to get sucked up by the oil pump, so they just roll around a bit, thats all.
