2004 Aviator won't release from park
Just had an aviator in the shop would not come out of park and brake lites non-op. Used park over-ride and drove to shop. All fuses check good.
Turned out to be relay #55 in the underhood power distribution panel. Heard it clicking and saw flashing of the drivers side footwell illumination lamp in concert with the clicking. Relay 55 is the blower motor relay according to the owners manual, but who knows why it fixed the prob. Thought would post this if anyone else has these symptoms. Alex |

Sounds like the BOO switch was disabled before you fixed it...
