broken driveaxle help
98 Plymouth Voyager. Broke a driver side drive axle. I got the outer end out no problem. I am having trouble getting the inner end apart from the transaxle. I pryed with a pry bar but it doesnt want to come out. Any ideas?

Re: broken driveaxle help
try a fork (sorry I can't remember the correct name), The inner part of the shaft has a lock ring on it which needs a quick pop to get it out.

Re: broken driveaxle help
I am doing the same job (Left driveaxle replacement) on my 98 Voyager, did anyone have a solution for popping out the old shaft?
I have tried prying it out but can't seem to get it to release. Thanks |
