More progress.
Engine work has begun, drilled out the spark plugs with 0.5mm drill. Turbos mocked up to begin headers. Engine pinned with 0.8mm brass rod to make connections for intake and exhaust. Exhaust manifold made with 2mm styrene rod heated and bent. Inlet manifold made so engine can be seen when hatch is open Primer is dry, so had to have a mock up for motivation Thanks for looking |

Re: Tamiya Ferrari F40, not for the purists
It's getting better and better with every update. I think F40 is my favourite Ferrari but I'm not a purist and I like your version, maybe not sure about engine, but keep going anyway! Can't wait to see it finished!

Thanks guys.
Exhaust manifold is now wrapped with masking tape and to be painted to replicate Kevlar wrap. A test to see how it fits with the subframe fitted Intercooler piping being made Of course another mockup to check Cheers |

Still in the primer stage. I'll be adding a splitter and canards to the front. As for colour, I am waiting for Khyzal's render to work to. I think we will be going with either German grey or medium-dark grey. |

Very cool! I did a Testarossa with some crazy mods a few years ago, this reminds me of how much fun that was! Ciao!
