to all owners of the new 3.5 SE
how do you like it so far? any major or minor problems encountered yet?
i am strongly considering getting one, just want to know if people here who have already bought one can shed some light on what they like and what they don't like about it, and what they've done to fix anything they didn't like. |

Very strong and smooth engine. Mine has an automatic tranny, which is also very smooth and responsive. The car handles great. There is a bit of torque steer under heavy acceleration but all front wheel drive cars I have driven have torque steer, so its not a big deal.
The only thing I am worried about is the plastic that was used in the dash and door panels. It seems very thin and brittle. I am concerned that in time it may "fade" (mine has the "performance environment" interior trim w/ charcoal leather). The brakes also seemed a little mushy at first, but now that I have a few thousand miles on the car they feel better. All in all I am VERY happy w/ my 3.5SE. I love to drive it! I have received many looks and compliments from people that I meet while driving around. It is definitely an attention grabber! I ordered mine w/ the sheer silver paint which I think is beautiful! I hope this helps in your decision.:sun: |

thanks much...you got the same one, color and interiorwise, that i am thinking of getting. you know you can get an interior kit for the alti's, right? check out www.mossyperformance.com - they have interior kits of brushed alimuminum, carbon fibre, or wood trim, all for $325.

i Used to have one, the engine is really powerful. The only problem i encountered is that the screw on the rear-view mirror would constantly loosen when i was listenin to music! lol

Re: to all owners of the new 3.5 SE
I just bought my new altima 3.5SE and I am definatley pleased with the cars performance as well as the way it rides. One thing I need to know is if there is anything I can do for the air intake? I have heard that there can be some pretty nice gains with one. Any info much needed and appreciated
