Well, better late than never!

The Fujimi kit always has been a disaster!

Thanks for the link to my WIP. As I wrote before it will be interesting to compare the Beemax's body with the reworked Fujimi's one.

Re: M3 (E30) by Beemax !!!

Last Friday's Aoshima blog has many photos of the prototypes of the upcoming kits.
http://ameblo.jp/aoshima-kumablog/en...029768360.html

Here are the M3 photos for discussion's sake.
(c) Aoshima

Grill's looked too boxy in the earlier photo, but looks curved from the front angle. That means it's too flat and 2-dimentional.

Any further word on this one? Is there still reason to believe that it is going to happen?

I have personnally no clue but I think it is definitely going to happen... but after the Celica gr.B TA64, the Civic and the Nissan 240RS.

Beemax tend to follow their planning generally so it may take as long as the Cruze to be released

After the Nissan 240RS whatsoever...
Now that the Celica and Civic are out, I would say the E30 will come by the end of the year.
Yes, I know we are only in february...

Re: M3 (E30) by Beemax !!!

Beemax released a teaser photo on their facebook. It looks like the model will release this year to celebrate BMWs 100 year anniversary.

The stickers look to be of Cecotto's 1991 DTM entry, however the roll cage appears to be the 1992 configuration, & Cecotto drove a FINA title sponsored m3 in 92.

Re: M3 (E30) by Beemax !!!

I'm already wondering, will anyone (Hobby Design!) make a full-detail s14 motor and transmission, or will we have to cut two cylinders off our Fujimi EM m88/s38s?

I'm hoping that within a year of release, someone *cough* Hobby Design *cough* will make an incredibly-detailed, full-detail driveline insert...

we should all PM hobby design on FB and tell him to make one. I'll buy 2-3 sets.
