Lotus has cut the M250, and it won't be produced. That sucks. What is Lotus doing? I mean, it took them this long to get the elise over here, and now they tease us with the 250? Jerks.

All in the name of progress! I'm not much of a Lotus man, but, that M250 was hella nice. I have a pic or had a pic of it. If I find it, I'll post it. My condolensces are with you enzo!

Apparantly Lotus still has plans to introduce a car in this market, but we'll have to wait for it...just not the right time for them, I guess.
I really liked the styling of this car, and I'd love to see them driving around, smoking all them damn boxters I see around, but I'm sure whatever car they do eventually come up with will still be a great looking performer.

On a positive note, the M250 comes with 250bhp and at 2205lbs, it's not a slouch. So the V6 should move it quite nicely.

Damn Lotus. That was such an awesome car. I guess if they are afraid of expanding, it's okay, but I really really really think it would have sold really well in the states.

Apparently, Lotus has put a hold on it for 2 reasons, one of them skeptical.
First, the rumor one. Lotus seems healthy, but they recently layed off a whole lot of engineering staff, like maybe they dont have many projects for other companies, which is where they get there money. SO they may be poor, and not have enough to develop a new model. They are also retooling for the new Elise, which has reliability problems, which would suck cash. 2) They say that they need further refining for the US market (do we really need 6 airbags???). Most likely, though, its the reliability thing, if they dont get it right, their reputation is ruined, no more American market, no one wants LOTUS to be associated with their cars as it implies bad reliability. Either one is valid, maybe its both, either way, IT BLOWS!!!!!^@^@^#$@^@$#^@$#%$#!%^@#%
