1991 GTC LX, J body push button light switch

I having trouble repairing a headlight issue. Whil driving at night, over bumps, my 1991 GYC LX convertible lights and dash go dark. We have a dash top push button mechanism, not a pull out. When we push the button the headlight blinders lift, headlights and dash turn on. When the lights go out the blinders remain open. Turn signal switch is separate. Any ideas on how to repair and where to find parts? Really need help!!
