Re: my new hemi

I knew it! I saw your sig in off topic and was confused. I thought it was a noob because I had never seen the sig before, but then it was your screen name, man you got to stop confusing me. Nice truck, get a decent deal on it?

Re: my new hemi

Lol, yeah found it for 14.995. Suprisingly gave me 6,500 for my truck (99 w/ 130k miles). So far im loving it. Got the exhaust done already with a magnaflow muffler and magnaflow tips. Plan on gettin the black headlights for it and then spray tinting the taillights.

Re: my new hemi

Nice. Did you hafto bargain for the 6.5k or was that there first offer? Heh, they gave my dad 500 for a 94 s10 with 175,000 miles, it was a POS though, loosing tranny and engine was slowly dying.

Re: my new hemi

They first offered me 6 and i bargained to get more because i just had the entire rear end rebuilt with posi less than 2 months ago(if i known i was trading it in i wouldnt have done that, lol) So they said 6.5 was the most they would go. I thought it was decent because i havent had any major problems IE was still on the first tranny.

Re: my new hemi

Good deal, congrats! You had the 5.9 in your old truck, right? How does the HEMI compare?

Also, was your old truck 4wd? I see you're in MN, land of snow....

Re: my new hemi

hemi obviously has a ton more power. Even with the mods i had on my 5.9 the hemi is amazing. The 99 was 4x4 as well as the hemi. I dont think i could live in MN driving a truck without four wheel drive.

Re: my new hemi

HEMI. Sweeeeet. That's kinda what I figured (more power, 4wd). I know that BleedDodge has a 2wd, and he's a ways up in Canada....

Enjoy!

Re: my new hemi

Yeah, i do alot of driving. But gas isnt killing me, generall its not a full tank fill up each time. I fill the full tank maybe once a week. Other than that its just putting 20 bucks in at a time.

Re: my new hemi

Check...I prefer not to stop for gas unless I have to, so fill up all the way. Great fun, putting in $70.00....
