Question Rear brake hose replacement: 83 Delta 88 307 Auto

Hello all. This is kind of a follow-up to my last thread. I found out why the brake light was on. Had a bad line on the left rear, just started to leak. Right side needed replacing as well. If you don't have a lift this job is a pain to do, you just cannot see very well. The bleeder screws would not unscrew, so I had to disassemble both sides and replace the wheel cylinders too. Had to unbolt the shocks and lower the rear end down to access the rubber line. The end of the line on the rear end came loose easily, no problems there. The other end goes up into a frame member and you cannot see any metal lines at all. What am I getting into here? The only thing I know to do is reassemble everything and bleed the system. Then back the car onto ramps and remove the driveshaft just so I can even see whats up there. Any suggestions guys? Parts are very cheap, but access is the main problem I have.

I would make up a new line outside the frame and make a junction up front where it comes out of the frame, that's what we do in my shop. You cannot tell what shape the concealed line is in.

I see what you mean. How do you reconnect the rubber line? Make an "L" shaped bracket?

Do you mean the flex hose, if so that would work based on it's location, make sure there is no interference.

Yes the flex hose, the end that goes into the frame crossmember.
