1974 m-23
I am in the process of re-building some vintage as in 40 year plus Tamiya 12th scale kits.
One of the cars is the 1974 Texaco-Marlweed car . Recently purchased Tabu decal sheet for this and the reds seem awfully dark. Old Tamiya decals and paint color recommendations are brighter. Anyone have an idea which is correct? Steve |

Tamiya suggest TS-49 Bright Red for the car. Personally after looking at photographs I would go with the brighter red..

I would settle for bright red even though like you I think it was a bit brighter but TS 49 matches Tamiya decal which I do not have.
Tabu sheet which I do have is way dark for 74. |
