1/8 Diecast Ford Mustang Repaint

Here is my next project, I have been asked to strip and repaint a 1/8 scale Ford mustang diecast shell. It will be repainted in zero paints Candy Purple over a fine metallic silver, and will be finished with the stripes redone in silver.

Thanks
Chris

Re: 1/8 Diecast Ford Mustang Repaint

Body pieces have now dismantled so they are easier to work with and stripped of the original paint.

Other than a couple of little marks the metal body is in good condition so I can now move on to primer.

Here are all the pieces off the body that are now painted in the Candy Purple.

Still needs the clear coat to be added after a light sand.

Hopefully will have the main body section fully sprayed in the next few days.

The body has now been painted in the Zero Paints Candy Purple, just need to add the stripes that will be silver, then a final clear coat and it will be finished.

Thanks
