Where can I find a hole in it? Im trying to wire the power for my sub straight to the battery and I can't find a way to get through - does anyone know?

Re: Firewall!

try where the main harness goes thru? there's usually a rubber boot style thing on it so you have to feed it into the bay from the cabin, but it works... just make sure you have good wire so it doesn't induce voltage on the signal wires of the sensors...

i wouldnt do that, plus i think its hard to get to.

i dont think there is many places without drilling a new hole. if you have an automatic there is the place where the clutch pedal would normally mount. you could drill a hole through there with ease and there is nothing else there so no worries. my advice would be to clear out everything under the dash and then drill from the engine bay in. then poke the wire through that way too.

good luck. i cant think of a place on the firewall that would be easy and a grommet that is pre-existing that you could squeeze it through.

Re: Firewall!

i have the same car, and i put my amp wire from my battery to my amp through the rubber tube. Take the battery out and look where there is a rubber boot with some wires going through it. It will be really tight but remove the rubber boot a little and slide the wire through. Go in the passenger side, and i cant remember if you have to remove the carpet, i think you do. There you should see your amp wire or what ever wire you are putting in. Its wasnt that hard.
