Re: where to get LS1 Motors
Used??
New?? I think the best place for a used one would be LS1tech's for sale section. I don't think many AF members would have one up for sale or I would recommend the classifieds here.

Re: where to get LS1 Motors
if you want a used one check ebay or chevy/vette trader (its a type of autotrader). you can get a good deal on a engine/tranny combo.

Re: where to get LS1 Motors
That is a TON of MPH to pick up in the 1/4 mile.
Light car with boost for sure. My times are 7.711 in the 1/8 and 11.97 in the 1/4. Just curious because mine picks up strong top end too. Just not like that.

Re: where to get LS1 Motors
that was running 20psi of boost. yea the car low end pulls obviously like a truck...but up high the car was pretty crazy. 1/8 mile times could have been better, but lack of traction out of the hole. my best 60 ft was a 1.86. which isnt all that good. Need to get some slick's instead of the Drag Radials i WAS running.
My friend with the identical setup as me ran 7.7...bu this was with M/T slicks. He's the one with the black 240 in my videos. as you can see..depending who got traction was who won.
