"CORRECTION!!!!

The 2003 Dodge Viper Hennessey 1000tt does a 0-60 in 1.85 sec and a 1.4 mile at 8.93 sec @ 149.65 mph!"

So if this is so how do they only say-

"Power Output:
800 - 900+ Rear Wheel HP (900 - 1,100+ Flywheel HP)
900 - 1,000+ Rear Wheel Torque (1,000 - 1,200+ Flywheel Torque)
Acceleration (Stock 6-Speed Transmission):
0-60: 2.25 sec.
1/4 mile: 9.75 sec. @ 148+ mph"

And on there own web site.

Re: Badass on the block! 1000/1100

0-60 mph: est 2.0 sec
0-100 mph: est 5.0 sec

You see that est= estimated, they don’t know how fast come back when you have actual facts.

HOLY S*** that mother f***er sounds bad, i luv vipers personally, but i am only 13 and i'm not precisly sure what makes them so fast, well obviously the gigantic motor, but i know that ain't it, 0-60 in 1/2 that is awsome, I saw a Viper GTS rollin down a street, man sounded awsome my bro raced him in a t-bird, 97 LX 370 HP, got smoked but it was awsome, VVVVRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM.

There is no way that is done on street tires...

Reason for a Viper being fast?? Good power to weight ratio, nowhere near the best by any means but it's good, and it has massive tires on it. Obviously the engine is a torque monster too so be careful in the lower gears. And yes...Vipers do sound awesome...

I haven't visited this site in many moons, but it is obvious that many of you have drank the Hennessey Kool-Aid. Do a search on Hennessey in this forum and you will see what he is capable of (from the standpoint of unethical business practices).

I'm not even going to give Hennessey the satisfaction of responding to how Henessey caters to the dyno jockeys and the magazine whores.

Let the buyer beware...

Brad

When's the most recent time that he's done something unethical, even though it's out there he still has customers. I'm really getting sick of people bitching about him, did he deny you a car?? I don't think so, I mean I understand that's wrong but I'll give the man a high five any day of the week, even if he personally screwed me over, because he builds great cars and I enjoy ever new tuned Viper he comes out with. Everybody screws you in the business industry, it's just that he was a bigger idiot when he did do it, and he's the first person I'd go to if I personally owned a Viper and I had the money to tune it. Screw SVSi, and Doug Levin is also an awesome tuner, but Hennessy does go beyond just the engine when he builds a car. Maybe you've become ignorant of his cars Brad, which I can respect your opinion on that, but the suspension on his first tuned SRT-10 was said to be much much more refined, yet better performing on the track. Have you not yourself made mistakes in life?? I think it's time to give the guy a break and let him keep tuning those fine Vipers.

HAHA....fuck that...can you say a street legal disaster?? Traction would be something that would become unknown in a Viper with that much power.

Re: Badass on the block! 1000/1100

Hennessey upgrades the drivetrain to handle that power but getting all that power to the road is up to the driver and his ability to control something with that much power.

use a few more brain cells and find out that with the optional 4 speeds automatic transmission, your 0-60 time becomes 1.85. how great is that ?
