07 Accord front caliper slider pin what type to use grease problem

I have been using CRC synthetic brake and caliper grease on wheels for 07 Accord Special Edition. At 51,000 mi because dust covers were torn I rebuilt calipers, new rotors/brake pads. The previous owner lived near ocean so I was thinking salty air/heat might have done some of this to the dust cover over piston in caliper. There was a lot of rust on everything when I took wheels off back then.
After 14,000mi I pulled the pins out of one wheel to take a look and the top one with rubber bushing was drier/less grease than the bottom one. I don't think it would have made it to 20,000 without becoming bone dry.
I have read some of the controversies online on other sites involving what type of grease to use and it was mind boggling. There was an orange looking factory grease on there originally.
I called Honda to see if I could buy some and they said they don't sell it. They just give you a little when you buy their "inexpensive" products. Go figure! Any thoughts? Thanks

I was able to find Silicone grease at Amazon for 20 dollars for 8 oz. Where do you buy it?

Re: 07 Accord front caliper slider pin what type to use grease problem

I buy Raybestos brake pads and they insert small amounts of silicone with the new pads. I called Raybestos and they told me I can buy it in an 8oz container for about $19 and some change on Amazon. They call it (DBL-2T) for the 8oz container and (DBL-3) in the tube. Thanks for your input.
