I found countless pages & sites with FAULTY INSTRUCTIONS - - tried at least 10 different procedures, blew 4 fuses & burnt myself...

Then I found AutomotiveForums.com & posted a thread!!!

I sought out help & within a few hours, 00_GS responded to my dilemna & guess what??? His instructions WORKED!!! It took me about a minute & a half to reprogram my remote!!! It was soooooo easy, but make sure you follow his instructions to every detail!

***It is important to note that the doors must be CLOSED AND LOCKED.
***Your key must be on "ON" (Not off, not ACC & not running)

GOOD LUCK TO ALL WHO WERE IN MY SITUATION!!! I hope these instructions fare you well! Keep us updated & feel free to ask questions!

THANK U SOOOOOOOO MUCH 00_GS...

I'm in a similar situation.... but, I have no clue what the DLC looks like...

I took some pictures with my cellphone cam.

Is this the DLC?

There were 2 plugs, a white one and a black one on the lower righthand side of my steering column :

I'm thinking it's the black one? If so, how do I locate the pin 1 and pin 4? The black female plug has a "1" and a "B" written on the ends of the rows

Any help would be greatly apprecated!

BTW, I figured it out... a little trial and error.

I was all during my "testing".

I got a diagnostic program AND the entire manual for under 20 bucks on CD. Its GREAT. have everything at the tips of your fingers and u just click on the table of contents or put in a search and it takes you to the right page. Proves EBAY is good for somethings.....
