Ferrari 430 Scuderia Spider 16M

Springtime! Sunshine! Finally the right weather to take some photos of the work finished early this year. The Ferrari 430 Scuderia Spider 16M.

The kit is Fujimi with Hobby Design Transkit. It was the usual quality. Fujimi was good, HD parts wouldn't really fit as they should, most were too small, so extensive adjustment was needed. Especially the chassis / undercarriage was awful, getting the wheels to sit in the middle of their arches was almost impossible.
Paint is Zeros Bianco Fuji, although the effect isn't really visible in bright light. You can only see it in those pictures with the light coming from behind. The white paint is topped with TS13, sanded smooth, polished and waxed. I also used some other extras like HD c/f decals, engine wires, seat belt hardware, metal transfer emblems etc. The p/e parts were included in the transkit.
The result is not as clean as I wanted, as some parts just wouldn't fit right, but it's still a pretty nice car in the end.
And now for some pictures. All comments, critics and questions welcome.
Enjoy!

The united family:

Re: Ferrari 430 Scuderia Spider 16M

Really nice work! Looks great in that Colour (my personal fav Pearl White)
HD resin seems to be getting better, I had a really terrible experience with my Lambo LP640 Transkit, the front & rear bumper didnt fit by 4mm!!! I went back to Hobbyeasy.com & asked if it were possible to get replace parts & they sent me another full set with PE & everything, (For free) & still didnt fit, then they sent me some direct from HD recently cast & they were pretty damn perfect. Always pays to go back to the supplier

Re: Ferrari 430 Scuderia Spider 16M

Well done, especially considering the mentioned quality (?) of the transkit
