B18C1 motor buildup
okay, so I'm rebuilding my motor starting friday and so far this is what I plan on doing, just wondering if anyone out there has any suggestions on what else I might consider doing... JE pistons (9-1 ratio), new rings, eagle rods, new valve springs and retainers, boring it out, port and polish, titanium sleeves, new cam gears and shafts, new clutch, lightening the flywheel, new throttle body, 550 cc injectors, new motor mounts, (possibly an intake manifold but probably not til later)... fyi, building it up for turbo application. Thanx in advance for any suggestions.

JE's suck ass. I got some Go with endyn there's are a little more expensive but are worth every penny. BTW if you plan on goin past 12 Psi you might want to sleeve it! I would just spend the 2K on a dart block if I was goin FI.

If you plan on boosting a lot which I'm assuming you are since your doing all this get a double thick head gasket just in case, wouldn't hurt. Sound like you'll have a kick ass motor when your done, post some pics when your threw. The Dart block is $2,000 damn thats expensive

thanx for the suggestions guys... as far as how much am i spending I'm looking at around 2,500 to 3 g in parts... as far as labor and machine work I'm not quite certain yet cause it's getting done at my buddies shop so I'm not sure what he's gonna charge, on top of it I'll hopefully get to do some of the work myself with him to speed up the rebuild, all depends on how much time i can get off work.
