Thumbs down Z28 vs Tundra *roll eyes*

Yeah, I'm only posting this in the racing section cause the guys in the Tundra thought we were racing... but since they were tools. I'll post for the sake of having to share this... way too funny not to talk about.

Leaving the Yacht club from hanging with mom watching the football game, I'm cruising along listening to some Pearl Jam on the radio.

I stop at a light, this light is longer than mosts so I have plenty of time to sit and watch traffic. I'm in the middle lane with both lanes next to me empty. A moment later a 2000something Toyota Tundra V8 comes rolling up next to me.

I think nothing of it really, untill the passenger door opens up and the passenger starts spitting on the ground. Like, lots of spit. It really doesn't bother me, just about every guy spits. But the passenger gave me a odd look when he was done, seeing as I was slightly behind the truck at the light. I hadn't pulled all the way up to the line and they had.

I could see that they were fully loaded, with looked to be 4 guys packed in the Toyota. I could also see that they were laughing and having a good time. Also noticed that they were looking my way. Ok... no biggie.

Light still is red, so I have nothing better to do than to creep up to the line. I contimplated taking off from the light to practice my launching, but due to the fact that this street has two big dips through the intersection I really didn't feel like bottoming out and scrapping and looking like an idiot.

Light goes green and the dude in the Tundra goes tearing off like he's racing... something. I kinda laugh as they go bombing through the dips in the intersection. I used to do that alot with my old Blazer, fun times.

Anywho, about a quarter mile ahead is a few lights by the local college. I catch up cruising along, I moved over to the right lane as it looked like it was going to get me through the small group of cars the fastest. They pulled up to the light just as it went green. From my point of view it looked the guy tranny dropped his Tundra.

I mean the whole truck just squatted and it left a bit of scratch on the road for about 1-2ft. Then just sorta bogged out and kept going. At this point I'm thinking he's trying to race me.

I move behind him, then over to the left lane as the right lane turned out to be a bad choice for me. Cruising along behind a Honda Hybrid I'm still enjoying my Pearl Jam tunes as I hear a Honk.

I downshift from 4th to 3rd to slow down a tad. I look to my right to see the Tundra coming up beside me. The guys window comes down as we start slowing down for a light up ahead.

"Hey!... I just want you to know, you just got smoked!" Yelled out the driver of the Tundra as he made the hand motion with his thumb and index finger as if smoking a joint.

I look at him with a serious huh? what the fuck are you talking about? look. But his friends are all laughing and glad that their driver was such the badass racer in his Tundra.

The light we slowed down for goes green and I continue on my way home. They get around a few cars to stay with me, we have to stop at yet another light with traffic. But he's still persistant to race me... or make it look like it. So he can claim his little victory.

Sitting at the light he starts revving on me and staring at me like he's some billy badass. I shake my head no and give him a nasty rev back. Light goes green, I bring the revs back up to about 5000rpm and let the clutch own quickly. The Z28 lights up the rear tires as I literally smoke them going through the intersection. I let off and shift to 2nd gear and cruise on.

They come flying up through traffic, the driver looks extremely pissed cause I just literally made him a fool. My turn was coming up so as I went past them again, I gave a lil rev and did a friendly wave in a "catch you around/good run" motion.

He honks at me as he flys up behind me while I turn into the turn lane almost rear ending me since I'm slowing down and he's mashing out. I can tell he wasn't too happy.

But as they say... fuck em.

Cliff notes: I hate idiot college kids.

Good kill, sounds like their truck was a waste of gas to race. Tundras really aren't that quick stock, but people seem to think they are.

Only gas I wasted was doing the lil burnout... so for me. It wasn't much of a waste time or gas.

Just taking 10 seconds out of my day to put a dildo in his place.

Sometimes I wonder what people are thinking. You should have said a witty one liner though after their commit.

h00raw!!

My uncle used to own one for a while. I remember when he tried to race the ol' Civ. Soon as vtak kicked in, it was over...

...for me...

But no seriously, it wasn't a contest at all. I left him back a few car lenghts after I hit the end of second. Gorgeous.

I know, I know Matty...

...you like finding places for dildos...

Anyhow. I've had a jackass in a Tundra do the same to me, when I had my SE-R. Imagine how HE felt, as he watched this old, rickety car walking away from his V8 "monster".
