1993 capri no spark

I have a 1993 Capri with 155,000 miles. It has stopped running several times in the last 2 weeks. So I have changed the pickup coil inside the distributor, and it started and ran for about 20 miles, then stopped again.
About a month ago I didn't have any oil pressure so I took out the sender and found corrosion on the wire connector. I cleaned it up and I have very good oil pressure now, so it was a wiring problem.
So I think I have the same think wrong with no spark. I then check out the ground wire connection located just under the distributor and found the wires looked a little green, around the wire ends, where they were crimped to the eyelets. I re-crimped the eyelets and the car started right up.
So I think anyone having problems with an older Capri should check all the wire connection before you start buying new parts.
Have a good day
