PM me with an email address if you want a wiring diagram. I'll send it out in the morning.

So you think its in the wiring? I understand it could be the regulators? Is there an easy way to test them before pulling up the carpet etc?

Re: 2003 Bonneville 3 windows out?

I doubt if 3 regulators would fail at once, assuming they stopped working at the same time. I think the 2000 & newer use control modules for the windows. I'll check the wiring diagram.

Re: 2003 Bonneville 3 windows out?

I just sent the wiring diagram. Each door has a control module. Do the windows work with the switches on the other 3 doors?

Re: 2003 Bonneville 3 windows out?

only the driver works from the driver door, the others don't work at all even if using the other switches. I also noticed there is no noise or clicking or anything that sounds like they are trying to work

Re: 2003 Bonneville 3 windows out?

I'm guessing that the driver's door module is bad, can't believe all 3 of the other modules are bad. I suppose you could have replaced a bad door switch with another bad switch. Not much chance of that especially if the switch was brand new. You could try unplugging the driver's door module & see if the other door switches start working. We really need someone with a 2000+ factory service manual.

Re: 2003 Bonneville 3 windows out?

I read somewhere there is a connection under the drivers seat that likes to collect moisture. Do you think this could have anything to do with it?

The driver's side ground bus is a common problem on pre-2000's, I don't recall seeing this on any 2000+'s. I'm not sure if this is what you're referring to, the ground bus was to the left of the seat not under it. Can you post a link to what you read?

Re: 2003 Bonneville 3 windows out?

I read it on bonnevilleforums you have to be logged in to read but the quote is
"I just got an issue fixed similar to this on my 2000 SSEi, drivers side window and locked work fine, but the rest would not do anything. After four hours of diagnosing at the shop it seems water collected under my drivers side seat, fouling out a data cable used to communicate between the other 3 windows and locks. They drained the water out and voila! They all work."

http://townhall.edmunds.com/direct/v...%20motor#MSG48

Here is another

"Mechanic found a problem with wiring that he traced under the front carpet toward middle of floor where there was a bad connector sitting in a indentation in the floor where there was moisture accumulation. He fixed wiring, and drilled a few small holes to allow moisture to drain since it appears that water is piling up here from some undiagnosed leak. This also fixed my passenger side view mirror motor which was also not working."

Re: 2003 Bonneville 3 windows out?

If the power locks work could it still be the connection or would it be the drivers module, or since the driver window works can I rule that out? All help is GREATLY appreciated!

Re: 2003 Bonneville 3 windows out?

My daughter had a 2001 and the problem was the connector under the drivers seat. She lost control of the power windows and the power locks on all doors except the drivers door.

If you still have the power locks working from the drivers door then it is more then likely not that connection but a different problem.

best of luck I hope it is that connection because it sure is any easy fix once you find it. I tore about her whole interior before I found it.

But Dad was her hero after getting that fixed. ha ha :-)

Re: 2003 Bonneville 3 windows out?

This is going to come down to what you'd rather do, spend money vs spending time removing seats & carpeting. I'd probably hit up a junkyard for a driver's module. Some of the junkyards around here will give you a refund if the part doesn't fix the problem.

Re: 2003 Bonneville 3 windows out?

Im sorry the locks don't work, just the drivers got confused. Thanks for all your help. I guess I will pull the seats and carpet to try and track it down
