2001 Buick Century vacuum port

Does anyone know where a good place to put a vacuum gauge tester to test for leaks?

Which engine? There is usually a vacuum diagram on emissions label underhood.

I thought I read where you should have the tester coming off a vacuum port from the intake manifold .
