COMPLETE: Customer's Drag Car '79 Camaro
Sorry for the lack of WIP updates on this guys, just don't have the time like I used to to document the process. A fun build, and I especially think the paint turned out great--and the stance is wicked! As usual, I now have to give it away...
Paint is Plasti-kote Dark Cherry Red, cowl hood is from the parts box. Wheels are resin pieces chrome plated by Chrometech USA, tires are from the parts box using Slixx Hoosier decals. Engine is the smallblock from the kit with fabricated valve cover breathers and a K&N filter. Interior uses the kit's rollbar, with some added bars, black flocking on the floor, a typical drag racing seat with harness, and a cut-up NASCAR gauge cluster on the dash. Interesting looking car. How long do you spend on each of these? Do you ever build for yourself? And/or do very detailed builds for yourself? Just curious.

Not for a while, these days. And every time I swear I'm going to take a break and build something for myself, I run into another 2-3 customer requests, and money is money.
