Re: unusual find in an AMT/ERTL box
the long peices are for holding a peice of sandpaper ... you wrap it around one peice and snap the other peice in place ...

Re: unusual find in an AMT/ERTL box
DId it also come with the TV for the console? I have a Crusin USA issue and it had that also. How about the engine display stand is that there? The 49 Ford has a nice set of extras as well

Re: unusual find in an AMT/ERTL box
When I first saw the title to this thread, I thought you found a bag of pot or a diamond ring...My next thought was, "He found a model that the parts FIT together correctly."
But what coolie add on parts and tools! Be careful with that 'knife' bro! I like the snap-to sanding bar that's something you can use every model you build. J. Barry |

Re: unusual find in an AMT/ERTL box
as far as fittment of the kit sux but the extras alone make it worth it (especally since it was half of at hobby lobby).
and dag, I'm just 22, don't know how old you are but i've never heard of a reel to reel in a car. P.S. Flea....thank you for straightening out the two long peices for me. a sanding bar, so simple yet som any views and no one got it until you posted |

Re: unusual find in an AMT/ERTL box
I got one a few weeks ago, and was stoked to see all the goodies with it. I was suprised to see the 2 engine options, and an engine stand for display of the extra engine. Way cool kit that has some fitment issues, but its meant to cut and chop anyways. I already have 23 inch rims tucked, and plans to chop the top and channel the body.
