Finished! (finally) Veilside S14 Silvia
For those with long memories,I sarted a progress thread on this more than 2 years ago. Finally finished it!Enjoy!
Fujimi Veilside S14 series 2 This kit comes with resin and white metal parts from an after market manufacturer for the body kit.All the parts fit quite well.I added racing seats from a parts set,and a sports steering wheel from the same set.The tacho is from a Monogram pro stock kit.The gearshift is a piece of sprue. The wheels are Veilside Dish. The car is supposed to have Veilside Marriot wheels but both the kit supplied versions, which aren't accurate, and the versions in Fujimi's wheel pack are only the 17" and look a little small with the extreme nature of the body kit.The real show car ran 18" wheels.I custom made my paint colour with Glasurit 2K COB using magenta and silver tinters with a little bit of red pearl mixed in as well. The muffler comes from a Fujimi parts pack. The speakers and amplifier are resin pieces and come from www.thepartsbox.com.The intercooler is made from evergreen styrene. For those who want to see more pics, click on the lik in my sig, then click on the pic on the front page.

Not a big fan of the veilside kits, but the sylvia looks great, and the amp and subs in the back are a nice touch.

Looks great. The finish is nice and smooth. I just wish the panel lines were painted in. (maybe dark purple color)
