Happy to join the club.
Being that my stepdad is into and has always been into Mustangs. I naturally grew up studying and loving Mustangs. I've drove many, and they have gave me a satisfaction.
But not the satisfaction i was looking for. My first car was a 1979 Mustang 6-cylinder. Second was a 1982 Mustang GT. <--- that car was pretty quick btw (not stock). My third car (and the one i still have) is a 1990 GT 5-speed. I started having problems with the car and eventually decided that the best thing to do was to get a newer car. I then went and looked a 2000 Mustang GT 5-speed. It had 3.73's, a short throw, and exhaust. Very nice car. And if it wasnt for the Camaro i would have had another Mustang. Now to how i got my car. I was driving back from turning in my work to my school. And there was a Bill Heard Chevrolet on the right. For some strange reason....i had something come over me to just stop and look. When i drove in and parked. I turned back and there it was. A metallic blue LS1 6-speed. T tops, keyless entry, chrome wheels, just sitting there....kinda looking at me. With those mean shaped headlights and front grill. I went and pulled the salesperson out of his car as he was about to go home. And told him to come look at it with me. A couple days later i could look at it all day, in my driveway. The drive and power in that car is unbelieveable. The attention, how can i say this. If any person i pass isnt looking at it, there either dead, or in a comma. There's only one way i can describe the acceleration and its in my sig. My friends, the Mustang guys, respect my car. They dont hate it. I went from the slowest car in our group to much respected. Although i'm not the fastest, i am defiently not aftraid of too many cars out there. We have 3 Procharged, built, geared, striped, Mustangs in our group. Those our the only cars in our group that would walk over me and laugh. Other than that, the others are scared. This car wont stay stock for long. My friends will soon to see a naturally aspitrated engine blow away the blown. Its good to be a part of the Camaro community now and i will be visiting here often to learn all i can. And share some great kill stories. Although i still LOVE AND RESPECT Mustangs to no extent, from now on, there getting walked. Peace.

LS1 is aggressive. I was going to buy a 4thgen but I decided the third gen had a better body style. WHen I drove it I was impressed from going from a vtec turbo to Ls1 it was a great feeling. LS1 is the supreme import killer. Heh have fun with it.
