2008 Escape speedo is off after tranny change??

I purchased a 2008 Escape that had a recent transmission change.

Using gps.... speedo reads 65mph, gps reads 55mph.

according to last owner, speedo difference started with trans replacement.

How do you change the speed ratio?

I had a a buddy with a genuine Ford scan tool plug it and and he can't seem to find a recalibration sequence.

What can I do to recalibrate speedo??

Please Help!! Thank you!

Usually two things will cause speedo to read incorrectly in that direction. Wrong gear on the end of the cable or tire height size is one size too small. You should have a 235 for the height on your tires. Check to see if that is the size you have.
I'm not familiar with your year and how the speedo on it works. It might not even be based on a cable anymore. So all I can recommend is checking the tires first.
