Need to tighten PARKING BRAKE cable
My parking brake cable needs to be tightened but I cannot find where to do it? Can anyone help?

Climb under your truck, and there should be a cable in the center of the truck near the cat. its attached to a bolt thing and that goes off to two more cables, one for each drum brake. just tighten that nut with the parking break off and itll tighten it right up.
i had the same problem, if i parked on too steep of a hill or driveway, it would roll back if not in gear. i noticed the tightening mechanism as i was lowering my truck a week or so ago. -Aaron |
