One of the priciest?

I recently opened up a forum on the mclaren section about what the most expensive car out there is. I got a couple of replies that the Bugatti Royale and 250 GTO would be. I knew the 250 GTO was very valuable, but des onyone know just how valuable it is? e.g. what it went for at a recent auction?

This is true. A Japanese businessman bought one for $14.6 million, although they can be found for less. Michael Sheehan brokered a deal in which one was sold for roughly $4 million

not all 250 gto's are the same each has a different race history of course, and you might see some people pay more because they are not tenured collectors, and some will go for less because of its history, cars are worth as much as someone is willing to pay for them, I thinks it cool someone would pay 14 mil for a gto its a complement to ferrari.
