1/12 blue flex line source

Hi all,
I'm taking my first dive into Tamiya's 1/12 F1 offerings, and I was wondering if there was an aftermarket source that offers a more accurate representation of the blue cloth covered flex lines found in several locations on the 1:1 cars. They look to be AN -6 or -8 lines.

Any help would be very much appreciated!

these?

There is variety of braided lines out there, usually silver but a little paint on them make them any color you want.

Some links

MFH also have white metal ones but they are a bit harder to make confirm in the way you like.

Re: 1/12 blue flex line source

I've often used round sewing elastic like garment manufacturers use. I have several spools of different sizes, all white, I can color them with paint or marker to any color desired.

Something along these lines:

Jeff - not sure where you live but give this a try -
https://www.hobbyeasy.com/en/categor...maker/MSM.html

Scroll down and you will find 0.6mm and 1.0mm Blue mesh tubing -

The 1.0mm is what you're looking for that is what I used on my 1/12 FW14B

Hope this will help you -

Cheers
john
