2001 RAV 4 AC problem
Our RAV 4 runs great but I just returned from a trip to AZ. 110 plus temps,
dust storms a plenty and no AC. The light stopped coming on when switch is pushed, and no cold air. Blower is working fine, fuses are fine as well. Is it a common problem for the dash control module to go out? 100,000 miles on it. Or is there another problem area where this would happen such as a relay or low freon pressure etc? The manual says nothing about a AC relay. Any way to test that dash module? Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated. |

Re: 2001 RAV 4 AC problem
I replaced the climate control unit on the dash. It is fixed. I was quoted $500. + by a repair shop and did it myself for $25.00.
