Smile Pod filter on a barina

G'day guys, I own a 1991 1.3L Holden Barina, and I just wanted to know if you can put a pod filter on these...... please note that the 1991 models are NOT injected engines, it runs via carburetor, and I haven't yet seen a car with a carburetor with a pod filter on it..... is it because it's not practical for airflow? or just not possible? any help would be gr8 thanx, SF

Re: Pod filter on a barina

The 1991 Holden Barina is actually a Suzuki Swift and uses the Swift motor.

You could fit a pod fiter to your engine but it would be a waste of time, there would be no performance gain from fitting it, you would actually lose power because of a longer and larger diameter intake pipe.
