Engine Mods
I have a chance to get my engine pulled and worked on for free. I want to take this oppurtunity to modify my engine the best that I can. Right now I have a CAI, header and exhaust sysytem I was thinking about boring out the cylinders, and getting new rods and a new crank. Do you have any advice that would be helpful. Also, what brand of parts work best? I am still thinking about forced induction.... I have a couple grand to spend. Thanks

depending on how much you bore the engine, you might need to resleeve the engine. i recommend JE for pistons and crower rods or eagle rods for the connecting rods. a new crank won't be necessary, as they are already forged from the factory.
