how much would it be to make a neon se with a srt power?
i am about to buy a rebuildable 03 neon se. i was wondering how much money it would be to convert the se into a srt. would it be more than $10,000.

SRT Power is nothing to reach actually if you're talking about nitrous or turbo, the 2.0 SOHC has produced numbers as high as 380whp ( we have alot of guys that want to prove that they don't need a DOHC). To be honest don't bother with even the idea of an SRT4 engine swap, you need pretty the entire cars wiring harness, ecu (has to be new), and not sure about this still looking into it but the tranny as well unless you're an 03 with NV850 (my gf's 03 came with one). Honestly though you could run a $2-3k turbo kit run no more than 8psi and you'll hit 210-230 at the wheels. Also keep in mind that your se only wieghs in at around 2500 vs the SRT4 2900 so with 210-230 at the wheels you'll be in the mid 13s maybe faster. Now as far as converting into look like a SRT4 its actually kinda cheap front bumper sells for 275 unpainted, you can get a aftermarket hood, and if you don't have a 03 you have to convert the headlight assembly which runs about 300 for both.
